course further develops Balloon Artistry skills to create more intricate
designs gained from the 7822 (formerly 7802) Balloon Display course.
Candidates are shown a variety of skills and techniques which enable
them to construct a vast range of designs often used in the Balloon
Industry.

Assessments
Attainment of the City & Guilds 7922 in Balloon Display is through
continual assessment evidence. Candidates can benefit from fair
and reliable assessment by trained and qualified assessors. Candidates
will be required to produce folders of work with evidence of core
and practical units. Candidates are responsible for ensuring their
portfolio evidence is available for external verification.
Course
Requirements
Candidates will be required to provide their balloon
and related products. Facilities to purchase required materials
and balloon gas will be made available through the College. All
candidates are required to provide their own tools and wear suitable
clothing. You will need to take photographs of your work, therefore
the cost of film and developing must be considered.
Qualifications
Gained
Success in this programme leads to the nationally
recognised City & Guilds 7922-025 Balloon Display.
Attainment
is through successful achievement of both the working design element
and the Balloon Display specialism element.
Achievement
is through continual assessment of 6 working design boards, of which
2 progress to full working designs and practical assessment of balloon
design techniques, together with a portfolio of samples.
Facilities
Floristry workrooms and floristry training shop.
Venue
This course takes place at the
Castle Green Centre in Barking, at
Capel Manor's main site in Bullsmoor Lane, Enfield, or
at Gunnersbury Park, Popes Lane, Acton, West London.
