& Guilds 7722-30 Flower Arranging
This course provides an introduction to Flower Arranging. Candidates
are shown a variety of basic skills and techniques which enable
them to construct a range of floral designs.
A 12 week course either Wednesday am or Wednesday pm or Saturday
am or Saturday pm. Each Autumn, Spring and Summer terms.
Capel Manor
College works in partnership with Green Horizons Housing in offering
residents advice and support on gardening. Each year we hold gardening
competitions and allotment courses combining leisure with keep fit.
Green
Horizons Housing are based in Edmonton Green and are building new
homes for residents of the Barbot Estate, and refurbishing the Edmonton
Green tower blocks. The redevelopment of these estates is part of
a wider programme, which involves commercial redevelopment, improvements
to transport infrastructure and environmental renewal.
There
were awards of Capel Manor College certificates and B & Q vouchers
for all the winners including Best Hanging Basket, Best Limited
Space, Garden and Best Front Garden.
