course is for those wishing to gain business and retailing skills
together with more advanced technical skills to construct all the
practical requirements of the floristry industry.

A one
year intensive course at Capel Manor for persons who have successfully
achieved NC Level 2 in Floristry, NVQ Level 2 Floristry, or equivalent.
This course is held on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Attainment
of the Advanced National Certificate is through successful assessment
of all units.
Course
Requirements
Flowers, foliage, sundries and mechanics are included
in the course fee. All candidates are expected to provide their
floristry tools, wires and tapes for the course. You will need to
take photographs of your work therefore the cost of film and developing
must be considered.
Qualifications
Gained
Success in this programme leads to the attainment
of the Advanced National Certificate in Floristry. Career prospects
are good as there is a demand by employers for qualified staff at
this level.
Entry
Requirements
You are welcome to visit the College for a personal
interview with a course tutor to identify a study programme which
will help towards your intended career. All candidates are assessed
on an individual basis, but the normal entry requirements are successful
attainment of NC Level 2 in Floristry, NVQ Level 2 Floristry, or
equivalent. Candidates are invited to an advisory interview at the
College.
Facilities
Modern floristry workrooms and shop set in the ground
of the Capel Manor Estate.
Venue
This course takes place at Capel Manor's main site
in Bullsmoor Lane, Enfield at the Castle Green Centre in Barking.
