The
Course
The course
runs for one year from January to December. Students attend for
one day each week. A wide range of topics and lectures are supported
with slides, workshops, park walks and visits. The park will be
used every week for plant identification purposes. Assignments are
supported through tutorial time in the studio.
The
course is intended for those people who wish to extend their plant
knowledge and use plants more creatively. It may be taken either
before or after completing the OCN Garden Design Principles and
Practice course. Successful completion of both courses will lead
to the award of the Capel Manor Diploma in Garden Design. The emphasis
of the course is always on professionalism and a high standard of
presentation is expected, particularly when working on planting
plans.
