The
Association of Colleges organised an awards ceremony
on June 14, 2006. Gold Awards were presented to former
college students who have gone on to great things. Among
them was Kim Wilde.
The
ceremony was held at the House of Commons in London.
Kim Wilde received her award after studying horticulture
at Capel Manor college and going on to forge a very
successful career in gardening design.
Kim
said: "I am delighted to receive an AoC Gold Award
which gives me the opportunity to recognise and publicly
thank the college and the many inspiring tutors there
for their support."
