Fronted by Saira Khan (The Apprentice, Saira Khan's Pakistan Adventure, Saving Planet Earth), each episode of Beat the Boss, pits a team of 3 children (The Bright Sparks) against a team of 3 adult business brains (The Big Shots).

In this particular episode the teams have to design a 'house' to be used either by a corn snake, a bearded dragon or a leopard gecko.  Their designs must replicate the natural environment as closely as possible and be instantly ready to use (no assembly.)

Capel Manor's, Elaine Watson, took part in the programme, by showing the three adult ‘contestants’ the usual daily care of the three most popular exotic pets to be owned by children. This included basic housing, feeding and handling and providing help and advice on the basic needs of reptile care.
