Welcome to Capel Manor College
We offer full and part-time courses leading to national qualifications which support progression to employment or further study. Whatever your age between 14 and 60+, whether you’re interested in horticulture, groundsmanship, garden design, floristry, balloon artistry, small animals, saddlery, arboriculture, countryside management or the environment, we can help with your success.
We also offer a full calendar of shows, events and activities to develop your skills and widen your interests.
Capel Manor College's centres across London are beautiful places to study with an inspirational atmosphere throughout the year.
We are recognised as a Beacon College. We hold Matrix accreditation for the quality of our student guidance. Our light touch Ofsted inspection in March 2008 confirmed our own self assessment as a good provider with excellent features. The 2009 Annual Monitoring Visit report notes good progress and commends our capacity to improve.
We are confident that there is nowhere else quite like us in Europe in terms of our facilities, activities, staff and students. This prospectus gives brief details of our full-time courses and lists part-time day and evening courses. We hope you find opportunities here to interest you. You will find more details of all our programmes on our website www.capel.ac.uk
Alternatively, phone or write to Student Registry to request specific course information sheets. Our College mission is, “to promote lifelong learning through the understanding and enjoyment of flowers,
trees, plants and animals for career, business, educational and leisure purposes”.
Capel celebrated its fortieth anniversary last year. Between us we’ve been at the College for forty years. We look forward to welcoming you to the College in 2010.
