Happy Fortieth Birthday to Capel Manor

Students, Staff, Governors, Vice Presidents and Friends from the "Past and Present" celebrated Capel's special anniversary on Saturday, July 12th with a garden party on the back lawn of the Manor House.
Even the sun joined in as the afternoon started with a tour of the gardens by Capel's Chief Executive Steve Dowbiggin, OBE and finished with a commemorative tree planting on the front lawn.
The tree, a Wollemia Nobilis Dinosaur, was planted by Dame Marion Roe DBE, Vice President of Capel Manor, and Cllr Lee Chamberlain the Mayor of Enfield.
Technical support was provided by one of Capel Manor's earliest students, Geoff Bylett.
