Whether you've thought about a career as a gardener, florist, animal carer, tree surgeon or leather professional, London’s only specialist college for land based subjects, Capel Manor College, is the perfect choice. With full-time, part-time and short courses (day and evening) leading to nationally recognised qualifications enabling students to progress to employment or higher education. From Level 1 and Introductory Diploma courses through to Level 3 awards such as National Certificates and Diplomas plus a higher education Foundation Degree in Garden Design.
We also offer Apprenticeships and Advanced Apprenticeships designed for those working in the Arboriculture, Horticulture and Landscape industries. It’s a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn.

Students will also be on hand to talk about their course and life at Capel Manor. Take time to wander around the grounds to enjoy the inspirational environment in which you could be studying.
As well as course and career advice there'll be:
- Guided tours of the College take place periodically until 3pm
- A guided tour of the gardens starts at 1pm
- Floral Displays by NAFAS Advanced Course students
- An inspiring display of designs by Garden Design students
- The Organic Garden will be open for demonstrations and talks on organic gardening and composting; 11am and 1pm
- Take a look at the project gardens constructed by BTEC First Diploma Horticulture students
- Dog Show with agility display and classes to test your dog’s skills; registration starts at 10am
- Exotic Room open 11am – 3pm
- Chicken talk and handling session 11am – 11:20
- Pony Grooming talk 1pm -1:20
- Handling demonstrations and feeding with the exotics 2pm – 2:30
- Meet the Kune Kune pigs; feeding, demonstrations and talks at 3pm
- Learn about different pests, plants diseases and disorders and how to treat them with organic and chemical methods in the Green Heart Garden
- Displays by Hard Landscaping students
