This time two years ago Gabriella Bunker had just joined Capel Manor College to do a BTEC National Diploma in Animal Management. As a young girl she was diagnosed with high functioning autism and struggled within the education system, finding herself out of school for 6 years.

Gabby has now completed her qualification with straight distinction grades and has been accepted by Reading University to undertake a degree in Zoology.

“I’m really pleased with what I’ve achieved and wish I’d been able to get the support I needed before – it’s only at Capel Manor that I’ve really blossomed and that’s because this is my passion and the fact that the my tutors have been really accessible.”
